A NEW WAY OF SOLVING MANURE ISSUES
Gasification is a new way of solving manure issues. This innovative technology converts various kinds of manure into green energy and high value EcoChar. EcoChar is dry, odourless and carbon-rich. It has high P, K, Ca and Mg values and is free from pathogens, E-coli, growth hormones and residues from medication, since they are burned in the gasifier. EcoChar is one of the few technologies that is relatively inexpensive, widely applicable, and quickly scalable.
Mavitec Environmental has been developing gasification systems since 2002 and has full scale plants - with a capacity of 1,5 tons of manure per day - operating in:
- Ohio (cow manure)
- Orleans (chicken, turkey and hog litter)
- Nebraska (wet distillery grain)
- Georgia (food waste)
- The Netherlands (pig manure)
More installations are under construction in Russia and many projects are pending in the near future.
